Short version
Palette calculations and image extraction run in your browser. We do not receive the colors you enter, generated palettes, uploaded image pixels, filenames or export contents.
Data processed on your device
The app reads color controls, URL state and any image you explicitly select. Image data is decoded into browser memory for clustering. It is not sent to an application server. Your theme preference is stored in local storage. The service worker may cache public site files and pages for offline use.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate page use and product interactions. It may process page paths, approximate location derived from network information, browser/device details, referral data and coarse events such as choosing a mode or export type. We deliberately exclude entered colors, palette values, images, filenames, clipboard contents and exported code from event parameters. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar browser storage. Google signals are disabled in our site configuration.
Server and delivery logs
Our hosting and security provider may process standard request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp and security signals to deliver and protect the site.
If you email us, we receive the address, message and attachments you choose to send. Do not attach private images merely to report a color-tool issue; a reproducible share URL and browser details are usually enough.
Retention and choices
Local browser data can be removed through your browser’s site-data controls. Analytics retention is governed by our configured Google Analytics property. You can use browser privacy controls or content blockers to limit analytics requests without losing the core generator.
